Hanjoo, wonderful. Classic Korean cuisine that just hits the spot. I loved the lunch box, consisting of clear noodles, rice, meat if your choice, salad, and dumplings. 12 bucks can’t be spent any better than on a lunch box here. Large place and perfect for groups. Love it.
Ippudo in the east village. Not only is this the best ramen in NYC (if not the world), it is also a meal that will change your life for good. After eating at ippudo, any other ramen will be so upsettingly incomparable to that of ippudo’s that it may ruin some of your future meals. That being said, get to ippudo’s earlier than it opens to avoid a line, and savor that moment forever.
